C-Map Genesis Live on the HDS allows you download maps that aren’t available on Navionics. This is not the end-all for recreational anglers. However, it can be a good option if your lifestyle includes frequent travel to fish.

GPS fishfinder combination has numerous benefits. You can use the mapping function to locate areas that are suitable for fishing. You can even save the places you've mapped out. It's possible to save fish finding spots in the fishfinder so that you can come back at a later time. It also offers a map that allows you to easily navigate to different places. With the depth gauge, you can also set waypoints.
Mega+ down, side imaging and other features are also available. This is an acronym that means you get deeper depth than any other fish finder. 360-degree imaging, which is my favorite sonar feature, really stands out to me.
