The FishReveal technology is one of the most impressive features of Hook Reveal. You can now see both structures and fish arches simultaneously. Although this is becoming a more common feature in fish finders, it still impresses.
Mega+ down, side imaging and other features are also available. This is an acronym that means you get deeper depth than any other fish finder. 360-degree imaging, which is my favorite sonar feature, really stands out to me. The 360-degree viewing is not limited to a side or down view. It also provides a 360 degree view up to 125 feet from the boat.
C-Map Genesis Live also comes with the HDS. It allows you to access maps that are not available on Navionics. Although it's not the end for most recreational anglers, it could be frustrating if the HDS is used by someone who travels to fish often.
Personally, I love Lakemaster's feature. It is very similar to Lowrance's structure scan. This allows you to identify areas where fish may be hiding. Lowrance Hook Reveal has three models: Reveal 5, Reveal 7 and Reveal 9 The screen size is the only thing that differs between models of the Lowrance Hook Reveal fish finder. However, it does offer some incredible features. The GPS tech is the first.
GPS fishfinder combination has numerous benefits. You can use the mapping function to locate areas that are suitable for fishing. You can even save the places you've mapped out. It's possible to save fish finding spots in the fishfinder so that you can come back at a later time. It also offers a map that allows you to easily navigate to different places. With the depth gauge, you can also set waypoints.
C-Map Genesis Live, which is available on the HDS, allows you access exclusive maps not even on the Navionics App. For most recreational anglers it isn't a major problem, but for those who fish frequently, it may not be the best option.
C-Map Genesis Live on the HDS allows you download maps that aren’t available on Navionics. This is not the end-all for recreational anglers. However, it can be a good option if your lifestyle includes frequent travel to fish.
